The upcoming training will focus on tools, practices and disciplines that Durham CAN has used to create change for the past 20 years. This training will help leaders and key members prepare to lead actions around affordable housing, jobs and criminal justice. The training team will include 8 Organizers of Color 5 males and 5 females from affiliates of One Wake, Orange County Justice United, the NC Congress of Latino Organizers and Forsythe County IAF. Participants MUST attend all the sessions (unless institution has been provided an exception)
Through March 4th, registration will be reserved for those who have never attended a 3-day (or more) training. Beginning March 5th, registration will be open to everyone. Those who attended virtual trainings over the past two years are welcome to sign up before March 4th; this training will build upon the virtual trainings.
Note: Due to covid precautions, we will cap registration at the first 70 participants. We hope to offer another 3-day training later this year to accommodate additional interest. Don’t wait to register!
Cost is $100 for members of a CAN member institution; $250 for leaders of non-member institutions. Fees cover food, facility, and presenter costs. Not sure if you're a member? Check out a list of our member institutions here.
