Relation Meeting with Wendy Jacobs Vice Chair, Durham County Board of Commissioners

Durham CAN Strategy Team Members and leaders of our Affordable Housing Action Team will hold a virtual relational meeting with Commissioner Wendy Jacobs, the Vice Chair of the Durham County Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Jacobs  is also the chairperson of the board for DSS-- who is responsible for distributing Emergency Rental Assistance (ERAP) funds from the federal government. Leaders will discuss issues with ERAP distribution, the potential for an oncoming wave of evictions, and other concerns for housing and policy in Durham County.
